English IPS offers pupils a unique online tutoring and mentoring service. When run in tandem with our downloadable resources, this service provides pupils with feedback and guidance, as they prepare for future examinations.

We offer three routes to online tutoring:

• Marking and mentoring: downloadable resources can be completed by students and then returned to us for marking and annotating. Written advice is then provided to students, comprising individual feedback and target setting.
• Webinars – online seminars are available for students to participate in. Each webinar will look at a specific area of the ISEB syllabus, from comprehension to poetry analysis, essay writing to creative compositions. Our online tutors are experienced Prep school teachers, well-versed in the requirements of senior school entry examinations.
• Individual online mentoring: A more individual service is offered, in which one student may develop a working relationship with an online mentor, who tracks their English development and conducts assessments over time. Consultations may be conducted online, over the telephone or, if practicable, face to face.

All our online tutors are practising Prep school teachers, with full Criminal Records Bureau clearance and qualified teacher status. Many of us are parents too, with children in the Prep school system.
