Chairs and DesksEnglish in Prep Schools (English iPS) supports the teaching and learning of English in today’s Prep schools. Founded by English teacher and educational author, Andrew Hammond , English in Prep Schools is an online community in which English teachers may share ideas, discuss current issues, read the latest news and obtain educational resources relevant to Prep school English.

English iPS provides the chance for you to join a community of forward-thinking, dynamic English teachers right across UK Prep schools. By working together we can meet the rigorous demands of Common Entrance and Scholarship, whilst delivering a syllabus of multiliteracies that embrace the multimedia world around us. Our literary heritage is as important now as it has ever been, but so too is the need for creative and innovative teaching and learning in a modern, globalised setting.
